How to select the proper hook size
- Measure the belt thickness
and pulley diameter.
- Determine the possible
options that could be used.
- Select the proper hook
from the specification chart.
- If the hook specifications
overlap into more than one size, select the fastener which
best meets your needs. NOTE: If maximum strength is of primary
importance, choose the hook with the largest diameter wire.
If low profile is needed select the hook with the smallest
diameter wire.
- Select the type of metal which best
fits your application requirements.
