A,B,C,D,E, Section V-Belts
V-belts are the most sensible, cost effective and dependable
belts for most industrial drives. The rubber impregnated fabric
cover on v-belts is woven for superior flexibility and friction
resistance. These belts are recommended for all general purpose
drives with high horsepower ratings. V-belts are measured
on the inside diameter, for example and A90=90" ID and
a 92" OD.

2L, 3L, 4L, 5L Section V-Belts
Light industrial applications, appliances, and power equipment
require the same tough, long wearing, trouble free belts as
high horsepower drives. Ideal for any light duty fractional
horsepower drives including backside idler applications. The
cover is oil, heat and ozone resistant in order to protect
the inner components. These belts are measured on the outside
diameter, for example, a 4L400= 40" OD

3V, 5V, 8V Section V-Belts
These narrow profile belts are recommended
for all drives requiring a high horsepower and a compact design
when space and weight are limiting factors. The rubber impregnated
fabric cover permits the belt to bend easily around sheaves,
reducing stress and heat build up that shortens belt life. Narrow
wedge v-belts are measured on the outside diameter, for example
a 3V500= 50"OD.

AX, BX, CX Section V-Belts (Cogged)
Recommended for tough, small sheaves and
high tension drives, these high horsepower energy savers feature
a molded cog design. The compression section provides the gripping
action and high coefficient of friction, while at the same time
allowing initial start-up clutching action to eliminate power
spikes and excessive bearing loading. The precision molded cogs
provide optimum flexibility with minimal heat build up.

3VX, 5VX, 8VX Section V-Belts (Cogged)
Suggested for tough, small sheaves and high-tension
drives, these high horsepower power savers feature a molded
cog design. The compression section provides the gripping action
and high coefficient of friction, while at the same time allowing
initial start-up clutching action to decrease power spikes and
excessive bearing loading. The precision molded cogs provide
optimum flexibility with minimal heat build up.

Banded A,B, C, D Section V-Belts
When shock loads, pulsation or misalignment
cause belts to whip, flip over, or jump off the sheaves, you
need the benefits you get with the individual v-belts permanence.
These are individual premium quality belts joined with a tough
tie band that welds the belts together permanently, this tie
band assures lateral rigidity and guides the belts into the
sheave grooves in a straight line, so the belts can't flip over
or jump off, even under sever shock loads.

Banded 3V, 5V, 8V Section V-Belts
When shock loads, pulsation or misalignment
cause belts to whip, flip over, or jump off the sheaves, you
need the benefits you get with the individual v-belts plus additional
stability, banded narrow wedge v-belts are recommended for this
type of application. These are individual premium quality belts
joined with a tough tie band that welds the belts together permanently,
this tie band assures lateral rigidity and guides the belts
into the sheave grooves in a straight line, so the belts can't
flip over or jump off, even under sever shock loads.

AA, BB, CC (Double Sided V-Belts)
Serpentine drives, with multiple reverse
bends that call for power to be transmitted from both sides
of the belt can put added stress on belt components. Dual sided
v-belts are recommended for use on rough applications, such
as agricultural and textile machinery, where change in direction
is required. The upper and lower sections are compounded for
extra flexibility to allow the belt to bend easily in both directions.
